Compared with water glass and ethyl silicate, the main advantages of silica sol are the high temperature strength and creep resistance of the shell, the preparation and use of the coating are convenient, no environmental pollution, the high quality of the shell and castings, and the rejection rate of the castings. The repair rate is low.
The adhesive plays an important role in the bonding and strength enhancement of the shell, and its composition and performance are important factors affecting the size of the shell. Inorganic silica sol contains a large number of fine (nano) silica particles. The energy on the surface is large enough to cause aggregation of the gel itself. Through the synergistic effect of the silane coupling agent and the organic alcohol, the organic material and the inorganic material in the mixed glue can be connected together to further improve the performance of the material and increase the strength and air permeability. In addition, the addition of silane coupling agents, surfactants, dispersants and emulsions promotes the dispersion of nylon fibers, further improves the penetration uniformity of the binder, and has better stability.

Add the inorganic silica sol and the auxiliary agent into the container, stir evenly, and then perform ultrasonic treatment for 20 minutes, and then add the emulsion and stir for 10 minutes to obtain the silica sol adhesive.
Refractory materials play an important role in improving the comprehensive performance of investment casting billets. The refractoriness of white jade powder is 2000℃, the main chemical component is alumina, and the content is greater than 98%. It can not only effectively improve the fire resistance and corrosion resistance of the product, but also ensure the surface finish of the casting, and is suitable for preparing products of various sizes and shapes. When silicon oxide, chromium oxide, and manganese oxide are added to the powder in a certain proportion, their filling function can play a more full role and help improve the fluidity of the castable, thereby reducing the use of raw materials and improving the strength of the product.
Ultrasonic treatment: The molecules in the silica sol are moved and combined through ultrasonic vibration, the reaction speed is fast, and the effect is obvious.
Immerse the surface layer of the shell in the post coating to hang the film, and then take out the soaked wax mold. Sprinkle sand with a rain-drench sander and dry layer by layer. The drying temperature is controlled at 24℃, and the relative humidity of the air is controlled at 60%. Repeat the above three times of hanging, sanding, and drying to obtain a wax mold shell.
The shell is dewaxed with hot water or low-pressure steam to obtain a shell blank.
Put the green shell into a high-temperature sintering furnace at 1000°C for sintering, keep the temperature for 60 minutes, cool to room temperature, take out the sintered green shell, and polish it again to obtain a cast green shell.
